(WXYZ) — Michigan Sheriffs will let you know when your child is involved in a traffic stop.

The state Sheriffs' Association has partnered with State Farm to automate the S.T.O.P.P.E.D Program – Sheriffs Telling Our Parents and Promoting Educated Drivers is a voluntary program for parents who would like to be notified when their child is involved in a traffic stop by a Sheriff's Deputy.

Do you think parents should be notified when their teen is pulled over?
