DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroiters will now be able to get free next-day delivery service from Walmart when they order online.
The new delivery program aligns with Walmart's efforts to increase services in the Detroit area over the past few years. The company first brought its grocery pickup program in 2017, followed by grocery delivery.
Walmart is offering next-day delivery on almost 220,000 online items. Customers can use the new feature without paying a membership fee.
The delivery service only applies to orders of $35 or more on eligible items, which will vary depending on the customer's location.
