A woman was taken to the hospital after an ammonia leak at a Warren business on Monday morning.
We're told crews were called to Sundance Beverage company on 9 Mile between Mound and Van Dyke around 9:45 a.m.
Maintenance was working on a line when something broke, and the woman was exposed to ammonia.
Fire crews did evacuate the building and the system was shut down. The system does have a purging system, which was initiated, which means they could work on the line without any leaks.
We're told the woman was fine at the time of transport, but she must be evaluated by doctors.
Monitors showed no ammonia in the building and crews cleared the scene by 11 a.m.
