WARREN, Mich. (WXYZ) — Warren police have arrested a man connected to vehicular homicide case.
On April 18, the Warren Police Department identified the vehicle believed to have been used in a vehicular homicide that occurred on April 16 around 9:45 p.m. on Cyman near Toepfer.
Authorities further identified and arrested a suspect in the case.
According to Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer, around 6 a.m. on April 18, an officer located a white Ford Crown Victoria matching the description of the vehicle used in the homicide.
Officer Tate and Detective Ptaszek began investigating the vehicle and found evidence that indicated it was the suspect vehicle. The officers were able to identify a 32-year-old man as a regular driver of the Ford.
After interviewing the suspect driver, officers believe that he was the driver at the time of the homicide.
The man was arrested and detained in custody while charges are sought against him in connection with the homicide.
Officers are still working to identify the passenger of the Ford at the time of the homicide, the police department says.
