(WXYZ) — To celebrate Peanuts' 50th anniversary, Emagine Entertainment will show "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" at four Michigan locations.
The movie will be shown Sunday, Aug. 18 at 12 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 24 at 12 p.m. Locations include Canton, Hartland, Novi and Rochester Hills.

In the Peanuts’ Gang’s first movie, Charlie is challenged by the girls in his class to volunteer for the spelling bee. Much to his surprise, he wins the class spelling bee, school spelling bee and qualifies to go to the National Spelling Bee! Charlie, along with his pals Linus and Snoopy, take on the adventure in New York City, but will he return home a national champion?
