(WXYZ) — Country music superstar Eric Church tries to add a little hometown flavor to every show he performs, and over the weekend, he played two concerts at Little Caesars Arena during his Double Down Tour.
During his two shows, he covered everything from Motown to Bob Seger, and even, Eminem.
The Slim Shady cover happened on night two, where he also bused into a medley of Seger songs in the middle of playing "Mistress Named Music," and "Heard It Through The Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye.
Church didn't know how the song would go over, even laughing and saying, "God help me," after finishing his drink, but the crowd went wild when the guitar started playing the music to "Lose Yourself."
