A man convicted of involuntary manslaughter and other charges in a high-speed chase with police that left two children dead in Detroit was sentenced to 30-60 years in prison today.

Police say the chase last June began after an officer saw somebody in the car with a gun. They say the car driven by Lorenzo Harris hit an average speed of 95 mph.

A 6-year-old boy and his 3-year-old sister were struck by the car he was driving.

Family spoke about their heartache and loss at the court hearing.
