Emergency crews responded to the General Motors Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly plant on E. Grand Boulevard this morning on reports of an explosion.
General Motors says three people sustained minor injuries after a small explosion inside the building around 9:45 a.m.
Fire crews believe it may have been caused by a filter pump.
The plant was not evacuated during the incident.
