(WXYZ) — A Michigan man stunned "American Idol" judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie during an audition in Kentucky that aired on Sunday night on Channel 7.

Jacob Moran, 24, is a nurse from Dansville, Mich. which is southeast of Lansing. He covered Ariana Grande's song, "Into You."

After it was over, all three of them applauded and then proceeded to complement the singing.

"I am faint right you. You have an incredible voice, my friend," Bryan said. "I mean you've obviously heard of Gary LeVox of "Rascal Flatts. I mean, you are there with him, and that is amazing."

"I just want to say, you're the best voice we've heard in all of Kentucky," Perry said. "You're best voice."

"You're making my eyes well up," Bryan added.

"We are just completely dumbfounded here, because, it's gorgeous," Richie said.

"If you say yes, we can help you transform into an idol," Perry said.

"You're life is about to change, I'm a yes," Bryan said.
