The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is hosting a hiring event Tuesday, April 4.
The event starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.
More than 100 positions are available. The Detroit Police Department will join the Wayne County Sheriff's Department for the hiring event.
The event will be held at DESC Michigan Works located at 9301 Michigan Avenue in Detroit.
Requirements to apply:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Michigan Driver’s License
Possession of a High School Diploma or GED
No Felony Convictions
Be a U.S. Citizen
Be qualified to obtain a Concealed Pistol License
Must pass required written and agility test per agency requirements.
