Arby's deer meat sandwiches are the talk of the internet today and they are coming to Michigan next month. A press release from the fast food chain known for roast beef sandwiches, proclaims, "Meat Season is finally here."
They say the new venison sandwiches will be available at four Michigan Arby's locations during the state's deer hunting season.
All four Michigan locations set to serve venison are located near or on the way to popular hunting areas.
These locations will serve venison from November 12 through November 15, 2016:
- 4229 W Vienna Rd., Clio, Mich. 48420
- 4040 17 Mile Rd. NE, Cedar Springs, Mich. 49319
- 1215 M 89, Plainwell, Mich. 49080
- 8685 Birch Run Rd., Birch Run, Mich. 48415
So, how will the Arby's venison sandwiches taste? A press release describes them this way:
The Venison Sandwich at Arby’s feature a thick-cut venison steak and crispy onions topped with a juniper berry sauce on a toasted specialty roll. The venison is marinated in garlic, salt and pepper and then cooked for three hours to juicy, tender perfection. The juniper berry sauce is a Cabernet steak sauce infused with juniper berries, giving the already unique sandwich another signature twist.
In addition to the 4 Michigan restaurants serving deer meat during hunting season, 13 Arby's locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Georgia will also serve venison.
