Healthcare workers across the country took a knee Friday during the White Coats for Black Lives demonstration to show their support for social justice and an end to police violence.
St. Joseph healthcare staff took a knee and silently reflected for 8 minutes and 46 seconds at 1 p.m., that’s the time a white police officer held his knee on George Floyd’s neck before he died.
