It's a new trend on social media, seeing the suffering of others and instead of helping, pulling out a cell phone and posting it or streaming it live.

Just this week, an 18-year-old California driver live streamed herself driving drunk, which eventually showed her losing control of the car and rolling over. Two 14-year-old girls were ejected in the crash, killing one of them, the girl's sister.

Dr. Gerald Shiener, a psychiatrist at the Detroit Medical Center, tells 7 Action News he thinks people are doing it to get their 15 minutes of fame.
