We've been putting products to the test on Facebook Live, and on Friday, we gave Wonder Wax a try. It promises pain-free hair removal, but does it really work.
Jennifer Ann Wilson recruited the help of digital producer Max White, who has never been waxed, to see if it really is pain-free.
With Wonder Wax, you have to microwave it for three minutes, then layer it on your skin, let it dry and peel it off. As Max found out, it wasn't so pain free, and gave it a 7 on a scale of 1-10.
We also tried the Sally Hansen Ouch Relief Wax Strips which comes with numbing wipes. When tested, the wax didn't quite come off the skin, but Max said it still hurt. Later, he ripped the leftover wax off on Facebook Live and said it was much worse than Wonder Wax.
All-in-all, Max gave both products a failing grade.
