(WXYZ) — The Marshalls store in Dearborn at Westborn Mall has boarded up its windows before Election Day.
In an alert from police, store management said the windows being boarded up was a company-wide directive and not related to any specific threats to that Marshalls or any other location in Dearborn.
The department said it will work with all law enforcement agencies to monitor and respond to any possible threats.
“There is nothing to be concerned about at this time and the police department will continue to work to provide a safe and secure election," Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement.
