GROVELAND TWP. (WXYZ) — A woman has been arrested for allegedly operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs and crashing into a motorcyclist on northbound I-75 in Groveland Township Sunday morning, according to MSP.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released by police, was killed in the crash.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. near Lahring in Groveland Township. Michigan State Police say the woman was speeding on I-75 when she rear ended a motorcycle, killing the victim.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for a medical evaluation. No further information was immediately available.
