Detroit police are trying to figure out who brutally attacked a woman and left her for dead on the city's southwest side.
Police say someone passing by found the victim partially clothed in an alley around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday and called police.
We're told the unidentified woman sustained trauma to her face and head. Police say she is currently in extremely critical condition.
The victim may have been raped and run over by a car, according to police.
Nearby residents are stunned.
"I'm just really sad and surprised and shocked that this has happened," said Lisa Milewski.
