Detroit Police are searching for a suspect involved in a bar fight that left a woman hospitalized overnight Thursday.
Police say around 2:35 a.m. on the 16000 block of Warren Avenue, an officer was flagged down by a citizen saying a 30-year-old woman had been shot.
The officer called for backup and an investigation revealed a fight went down at a local bar and shots had been fired.
Several casings and bullet holes were found in the bar's walls and door, according to police.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to her right hand. She was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police have not released the name of the bar nor the victim's identity.
The investigation is ongoing.
