DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating a deadly crash that happened on the city's west side overnight.
On Nov. 10 around 12:35 a.m. in the 14900 block of Schaefer, a 53-year-old woman and a 46-year-old woman were on separate motorcycles. Police say the women were stopped in the road, preparing to make a left turn when they were rear-ended by the 25-year-old male suspect driving a silver Chevy Impala.
Medics took both victims to a local hospital. The 53-year-old succumbed to her injuries, and the 46-year-old has been listed in critical condition, according to police.
The suspect was taken into custody.
