Edward Majzlik is a 96-year-old World War II veteran from Dearborn.

While operating his motorized scooter near his home, he lost his cane, which is decorated with his military recognition, as well as a special eagle head.

He is hoping whoever found it returns it to him.

"It has my name on there, my service metals on there," he told Action News.

He says the cane was a gift bestowed only to vets of the second World War.

"It was made by Michigan Woodcarvers Association. They only do it for veterans."
