WYANDOTTE, Mich. (WXYZ) — In their weekly roundup, Wyandotte Police shared an unlikely story on their Facebook page Friday.

The department said a Monroe man was pulled over for a traffic violation. When the officer asked the man for his license, he said "Oh, I haven't had a driver's license in years."

And he was right -- 28 years to be exact -- according to police.

It goes without saying, the man was arrested.
