What's not to like? It's portable! Highly customizable! And just downright fun to eat! We asked our 7 Action News viewers to weigh in on the best cupcake shops in metro Detroit.

#7 Chocolate Bar Cafe (Grosse Pointe Woods)
We begin our hunt at Chocolate Bar Cafe in Grosse Pointe Woods. It's #7. Fans call the cupcakes "phenomenal" and the bumpy cupcake "world-class." They'll help you get ready when Fall blows in.

#6 Buttercream Bakeshop (Wixom)
Buttercream Bakeshop in Wixom is 6th! Whether your inspiration comes from superheroes, spring flowers, the sea to saying "I do," the pastry artist here can bring your vision to life.

#5 Astoria Bakery (Greektown/Royal Oak)
Astoria Bakery in Greektown and Royal Oak snags 5th. It's been a spot for Detroiters with a sweet tooth for decades. Here, the red velvet cupcakes sell like hotcakes!

#4 Cupcake Station (Multiple Locations)
Cupcake Station is 4th. They have locations in Plymouth, Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Rochester and Ferndale. The cupcakes are wonderful and whimsical – like the campfire. Think summer camp s'mores in cupcake form.

Our runner up is Christine's Cakes and Pastries in Shelby Township. From holidays to every day, Christine's can help you celebrate the special moments in your life.

#1 Nothing Bundt Cakes (Multiple Locations)
Nothing Bundt Cake in Troy, Novi and Rochester takes the top spot. They have Bundtlets – think cupcakes to share and little "Bundtinis" by the dozen.

I had one of the free samples here at Nothing Bundt Cake, and they were soft, spongy and moist.

A Nothing Bundt Cakes customer named Zareen loves the sweet treats. She says, "I keep coming back for more, and I shouldn't be eating these."
