-----------
Washtenaw County sheriffs are on the scene of a police standoff on Crestwood in Ypsilanti Township Tuesday morning.
Police say the man is threatening to blow his house up.
It is unknown if the man has firearms or explosives in the home, according to police. Officers say a woman in the home jumped out of a window to escape before calling 911.
As a result, Ypsilanti Community Schools are on a precautionary lockdown due to the barricaded man situation nearby.
School officials say the incident is about 3 miles away from A.C.C.E, YCMS and Erickson Elementary.
Parents should be aware there will be no access to any of the buildings until the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department gives an all clear.
