BOSTON (WXYZ) -- Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander is expected to make his next scheduled start Saturday against the Red Sox.

According to the team's probable pitchers list, Verlander is scheduled to face Chris Sale.

Verlander left Sunday's game early with groin tightness, and received an extra day of rest due to Detroit's off day Monday.
