Major League Baseball will reportedly debut something called "Players Weekend". For one weekend only brief period of time, the league will allow players to wear jerseys with nicknames, personalized patches and customized, colorful spikes.
Yahoo Sports reported the league will allow players the option to wear their nicknames on the backs on their jerseys, but "inappropriate and offense" words will not be allowed.
The first ever "Players Weekend" is planned for Aug. 25-27.
After the event, the customized jerseys will be auctioned off for charity.
