Tickets for potential Wild Card, ALDS Tigers games on sale Thursday

Tickets for potential American League Wild Card and American League Division Series Detroit Tigers games will go on sale to the public on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 12 p.m.

The tickets will only be available by visiting and will not be available at the Comerica Park box office or by phone.

The AL Wild Card game is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 4 at a time and location that has yet to be determined. The ALDS games will start following the wild card game.

The winner of the wild card game will go on to compete in the ALDS.

As of Sept. 16, the Tigers are six games back from first place in the American League Central and two games back for a spot in the AL Wild Card game. They are tied with Seattle for the third place in the wild card.
