BALTIMORE (WXYZ) -- On Friday, the Tigers purchased the contract of right-handed pitcher Warwick Saupold from Triple-A Toledo.
In a corresponding move, Detroit optioned Daniel Norris to Toledo.
In eight appearances for the Mud Hens this season, Saupold is 3-1 with a 2.37 ERA in 30 1/3 innings. He has yet to make his MLB debut.
