After Friday night's rough performance in the Tigers narrow win over the Indians, right-hander William Cuevas has been sent to Triple A Toledo. Warwick Saupold has been called up to take his place in the bullpen.
Saupold has a 1.69 ERA and a 1.219 WHIP after two starts with the Mud Hens.
