DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Pistons announced Wednesday that they have signed a broadcast agreement with 97.1 The Ticket beginning this season.
The team's games were previously carried on 105.1 WMGC-FM.
97.1 will carry preseason, regular season, and postseason games, with the broadcast team of Mark Champion and Rick Mahorn staying intact. 2017-2018 marks Champion's 24th season as Pistons radio play-by-play broadcaster and Mahorn's 16th as radio analyst.
WWJ 950 AM will be used as an overflow station should a Pistons game conflict with a Red Wings or Tigers broadcast on 97.1 The Ticket.
