GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WXYZ) -- Pistons guard Brandon Jennings tallied 11 points and 12 assists in 27 minutes in a rehab start on Saturday with the NBA D-League's Grand Rapids Drive.
Saturday's game, a 130-104 Grand Rapids win, was the first game action for Jennings since suffering an Achillies injury in January.
"It was cool in the beginning," Jennings told reporters after the game. "In the second half, I lost my legs a bit and didn't shoot as much. It was a little weird playing pick and roll again for the first time, and it's something I'll have to work on in practice."
Jennings was confident he'll be returning to the Pistons roster soon.
"I feel good. If coach wants me to play in Miami, I'll play."
