ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) -- No one can kick off an event quite like Jim Harbaugh.

The Michigan football coach gave a pep talk to the participants of Friday's Polar Plunge at Michigan Stadium to benefit Special Olympics.

"Do it with some style, do it with some flair, and do it for fun," Harbaugh told the plungers before taking the field for their jumps.

Friday's event raised over $100,000 for Special Olympics of Michigan. Participants included WXYZ's Ann Marie LaFlamme and Malcom Maddox.
