DETROIT (WXYZ) -- During a timeout at the Horizon League Tournament Saturday night at Joe Louis Arena, Detroit and Youngstown State fans paid tribute to the late Reggie Hall, affectionately known as "Titan Reggie."
Part of the tribute included a friend of Hall's holding up the "Titan Reggie" sign that was displayed in Hall's usual seat at Calihan Hall during the regular season.
Hall, a UDM alumnus who passed away in December 2015, was a longtime supporter of Titan Basketball, frequently traveling to road games, including the conference tournament.
"He considered the Titans his family," said Hall's friend Matthew Moore, who held up the sign during the tribute. "It was his family, it was his passion, it was something he loved and he thought about constantly, and was always working to make a good presentation of himself, the university, and the league everywhere he went."
