Report: Michigan to hire BC's Brown as DC

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) -- According to a report from Sports Illustrated's Thayer Evans, Michigan will hire Boston College's Don Brown as its new defensive coordinator.

 

 

Brown recently completed his third season as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Boston College, and was honored as the 2015 AFCA Assistant Coach of the Year in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Brown's top-ranked defense allowed 254.4 yards per game this season.

Brown has spent a total of 34 years coaching, 19 of which have been as a defensive coordinator.
