Tucker Haymond's double-double leads Western Michigan over Eastern Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) -- Tucker Haymond scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Western Michigan to an 88-80 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday.
   
It was Haymond's second straight double-double for the Broncos (11-15, 7-7 Mid-American Conference), who have won four straight and five of their last six games. Eastern Michigan (13-14, 5-9) has lost six in a row.
   
Haymond was 8 of 11 from the floor and made 10 of 11 free throws. Thomas Wilder added 14 points for Western Michigan, which shot 51 percent (28 of 55) from the floor and made 24 of 32 (75 percent) from the line.
   
Ray Lee scored a season-high 27 points to lead Eastern Michigan, which shot 58 percent from the field but made just 12 of 21 free throws. James Thompson IV and Willie Mangum IV added 13 points apiece.
   
Western Michigan took the lead for good with 6:26 remaining in the first half, and had a 15-point lead with 4:40 left.
