Wayne State beats Saginaw Valley for sixth straight win

DETROIT (WXYZ) -- Romello Brown rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns and Wayne State beat Saginaw Valley 42-14 on Saturday.

After the Cardinals (4-3) pulled within two points in the second quarter, the Warriors (7-1) proceeded to score 26 unanswered points, including two of Brown's touchdown runs.

Donovan Zezula completed 13 of 20 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. Zezula added a six-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter.

Wayne State's six-game win streak matches the longest since the Warriors opened the 2011 season with six consecutive victories.
