DETROIT (WXYZ) -- Donovan Zezula passed for 205 yards and three touchdowns, helping Wayne State cruise to a 50-7 win over Lake Erie on Saturday.
The Warriors (2-1) took a 47-0 lead into halftime. Lake Erie (0-3) scored its lone touchdown in the third quarter.
Jamel Hicks hauled in two of Zezula's touchdown passes, part of a five reception, 105-yard day. Romello Brown led the Warriors' ground attack, rushing for 172 yards and a touchdown. Demetrius Stinson added 64 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Wayne State hosts Tiffin next Saturday.
