Fleck, in his fourth season at WMU, has led the Broncos to a 13-0 record, a MAC Championship, and a Cotton Bowl matchup with Wisconsin on January 2.
Fleck is currently the highest-paid coach in the Mid-American Conference, with a 2016 salary of $816,360 plus incentives, according to the USA Today coaching salary database. Toledo's Jason Candle has the next-highest MAC salary at $675,000.
Fleck's name came up as a possible candidate for several power five conference openings this season, including Oregon and Purdue. However, those schools have since filled their coaching vacancies with other candidates.
