ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Detroit Lions have exercised the fifth-year option for offensive tackler Taylor Decker. Last week, GM Bob Quinn said they were waiting to make a decision regarding Decker's future.

Decker has started all 40 games he's appeared in for Detroit, including all 16 games in both 2016 and 2018. He was a first-round pick in 2016 and also made the NFL all-rookie team.

One of the highlights from last season game when Decker caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford in the team's win over the Los Angeles Rams. In celebration, he chucked the ball into the stands but used social media to get the ball back.
