Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate expressed his hope for a contract extension on Twitter Thursday.
Tate signed a 5-year, $31 million deal with the Lions in 2014 and has two years left.
"I hope I'm one of the next ones to get extended..... big plays can come in all shapes and forms huh?" Tate tweeted with a link to Pro Football Focus' tweet about Julian Edelman's contract extension with the Patriots.
