Detroit Pistons forward Reggie Bullock has been suspended for five games for a drug violation, the NBA announced Friday.

Bullock, as well as Monta Ellis from the Indiana Pacers, were suspended for "violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program."

His suspension will begin at the first NBA regular season game he is eligible to play.

Bullock, 26, played in 31 games for the Pistons last season, averaging 4.5 points per game on 15.1 minutes played per game.
