The Detroit Red Wings announced they have recalled defenseman Nick Jensen from the Grand Rapids Griffins and placed defenseman Alexey Marchenko on seven-day injured reserve.
Jensen, 26, has appeared in 27 games for the Griffins this season. He has six points, six penalty minutes and a team-best +8 rating.
He is in his fourth professional season and is a +51 since the 2013-14 season.
