Along with new food items and new merchandise, some fans will notice another new addition to Comerica Park during the 2016 Detroit Tigers season: A new backstop.
Fans sitting in the outfield and watching at home will see the brick backstop with features the "Old English D" and an area for advertisements.
The backstop was previously made from the same material that lines Comerica Park with some padding.
