Legendary basketball coach and broadcaster Dick Vitale was at University of Detroit Mercy Friday as part of the 40-year reunion of the 1976-77 Titans team.
Vitale led this team to 25 win -- 21 one straight victories at one point -- and an appearance in the Sweet 16.
He choked up talking about his team saying it was emotional to have so many of them back together again at UDM.
The court at Calihan Hall is named after Vitale, and he says the legendary 'Dickie V' would not be without the colllege coaching start he got with the Titans.
