Is this another sign of national media outlets disrespecting Michigan State?
In an ESPN push alert sent Monday morning, the sports network wrote, "SportsCenter Video: Michigan State coach Tim Izzo calls making Hall of Fame "greatest thing that ever happened to me."
Hey @espn @ESPNCBB who on earth is this "Tim Izzo" guy, never heard of him #msu pic.twitter.com/nop6squlg2

Obviously, Michigan State's head coach is Tom Izzo, not Tim Izzo.
This comes less than a week after the Associated Press sent a tweet where they referred to Denzel Valentine as Denzel Washington. The AP later apologized for the error.
Congrats, Denzel Washington?!? didn't realize you had any eligibility left. @AP_Sports pic.twitter.com/Mr9QrrMvbV

Sorry Denzel Washington. We do love you, but Denzel Valentine is actually AP Player of Year https://t.co/9lsVtHDL1b pic.twitter.com/bvucSh5G5D

In December, Sports Illustrated also wrote, "How Mike Dantonio Rebuilt The Spartans," when the Michigan State head football coach's name is Mark Dantonio, not Mike.
