CHECK IT OUT: Lions release full 2016 schedule

We've known for months the Lions would host the Vikings on Thanksgiving.

Thursday night, we finally got our hands on the rest of the NFL's schedule.

The Lions will play on national TV twice: Thanksgiving and on Monday Night Football in Dallas at the end of Week 16.

The Monday Night game will mark Detroit's sixth straight season with a MNF appearance.

The Vikings will make their fourth appearance in Detroit for Thanksgiving, and the annual game will be the 77th season with a holiday matinee. 

Week 1: Sep. 11 at Indianapolis Colts, 4:25 p.m., Fox

Week 2: Sep. 18 vs. Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m., CBS

Week 3: Sep. 25 at Green Bay Packers, 1 p.m., Fox

Week 4: Oct. 2 at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m., Fox

Week 5:  Oct. 9 vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 1 p.m., Fox

Week 6: Oct. 16 vs. Los Angeles Rams, 1 p.m., Fox

Week 7: Oct. 23 vs. Washington Redskins, 1 p.m., Fox

Week 8: Oct. 30 at Houston Texans, 1 p.m., Fox

Week 9: Nov. 6 at Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m., Fox

Week 10: BYE

Week 11: Nov. 20 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m., CBS

Week 12: Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving) vs. Minnesota Vikings, 12:30 p.m., CBS

Week 13: Dec. 4 at New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m., Fox

Week 14: Dec. 11 vs. Chicago Bears, 1 p.m., Fox
