Former Titan Bass inks professional contract

Former Titan freshman Paris Bass will be continuing his basketball career overseas as he has signed a professional contract with the Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions of the Österreichische Basketball Bundesliga in Austria.

Bass only played two season with the Titans but certainly left his mark. He was named Horizon League freshman of the year in 2015 and First Team All-Horizon League in 2016. He was the Co-Titan MVP this past season as he led the team in scoring (18.4), rebounding (8.0), blocks (1.4) and steals (1.4), finishing fourth in the HL in blocks, fifth in scoring and rebounding and tied for sixth in steals. He posted double figures in scoring in 19 of his 24 contests, including thirteen 20-point outings and seven double-doubles, which was tied for third in the HL in 20-point games and tied for seventh in double-doubles.

As a freshman, he averaged 12.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, ranking second on the team in scoring, first in rebounds, second in assists and first in blocked shots with 35. 

He ended his career with 842 points, 375 rebounds, 111 assists, 71 steals and 68 blocks in just 56 career games.
