Detroit Red Wings legend and Hall of Famer, Gordie Howe, joined some of the Red Wings in the locker room before the Sabres game to wish them good luck. Fist pumps all around and hand shakes, the players were thrilled to have Howe stop by.
Howe is celebrating his 88th birthday on Thursday and tonight, the team threw a party for him at Joe Louis Arena, including happy birthday signs in the seats and a sing along with the fans.
