(WXYZ) -- Mitch Callahan, who recently won a second Calder Cup with AHL Grand Rapids, has signed with the Edmonton Oilers organization.
Callahan signed a two-year, two-way contract, the Oilers announced on Saturday.
Callahan spent six seasons in the Red Wings organization, primarily in Grand Rapids. He made his NHL debut during the 2013-14 season, and played four games for Detroit during the 2016-17 season.
Callahan expressed his gratitude on social media to the fans in Detroit and Grand Rapids for his time with the Red Wings organization.
