DETROIT (WXYZ) -- Red Wings general manager Ken Holland told reporters Sunday that Niklas Kronwall will miss 1-3 weeks with a sprained knee.

Red Wings beat writers Helene St. James and Ansar Khan had the first reports.

Kronwall missed 15 games in January and February after his previous knee surgery. In 53 games this season, Kronwall has tallied 20 points (3 G, 17 A), which ranks 10th on the team.
