The Red Wings begin training camp in Traverse City next week, but they'll do so without most of their top players.
Dylan Larkin, Petr Mrazek, Tomas Tatar, Justin Abdelkader, and Alexey Marchenko lead a list of Red Wings in Toronto for the World Cup of Hockey.
New additions Tomas Vanek and Frans Nielsen join the pack representing their countries at the tournament. Pavel Datsyuk is there, too, playing for Russia.
At Media Day on Thursday, the Red Wings got plenty of attention.
